法鼓山的共识，涵括内容有：理念、精神、方针、方法，每一项皆有两句话勾勒出其意义。
我们的理念 ──「提升人的质量，建设人间净土。」
我们的精神 ──「奉献我们自己，成就社会大众。」
我们的方针 ──「回归佛陀本怀，推动世界净化。」
我们的方法 ──「提倡全面教育，落实整体关怀。
